Welcome to our Children & Youth work at St Philip’s – it’s great to meet you!
There’s loads happening for young people at St Philip’s so read on and find out more…

Children's Work

Explorers is a group for children of primary school age. It happens as part of our 10.30am Holy Communion services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

Explorers is a group where we explore life and faith together. We hope it will be a place where you can learn, have fun, make friends, and ask questions.

Why not come along and join us?

Throughout the year there are different events and activities going on, such as: Fort Rocky – Stay tuned or contact us for more information.

Youth Work

St Philip’s Youth Group is called Edge! We are a community of school years 7-13 (ages 11-18). All within this age range are so welcome to come along! We have a lot of fun with themed evenings such as a pizza night, or pancakes and play lots of games and do activities such as a gingerbread house competition and cookie decorating!

Part of our time is spent looking into the life of Jesus with lots of opportunity for open discussions and a safe space for questions to be asked!

The Youth leadership team also have a Mentoring programme. We love to get to know our youth as a group and individually. We are here to encourage and support our young people in any way we can and help them grow in their faith.
