The Community Lounge is the home of our Warm Spaces.
Come and join us at any of our community events – and of course on Sunday mornings!
Through the generous bequest of Stanly Downing, a faithful member of our church community, we are also able to financially support many different community activities through Stan’s Fund.
Warm Spaces is the name for our regular drop-in times, when we invite everyone in for a hot drink and biscuits, to chat or read the paper, do a jigsaw, play board games or just chill. On some days we also offer a delicious meal, cooked by Cambridge Sustainable Food.
Drop in anytime during the hours below. It’s free, with donations welcome if you can. We’d love to see you!
Wednesdays, 10.30am – 1.30pm
10.30am–12 noon – Drop-in for tea or coffee etc.
12 noon – A quiet service of Holy Communion takes place in the church. All welcome.
12.30pm – ‘Pay as you feel’ lunch cooked by Cambridge Sustainable Food.
Fridays, 1.30pm – 3pm
Round-off the week by dropping in for a hot drink, a chat and all our usual Warm Spaces jigsaws, games etc.
1st Saturday of the month – 10.30am – 1.30pm
Everyone is welcome for our Open Saturdays.
10.30am – Drop-in for a hot drink etc. Board games are a speciality on Saturdays!
12 noon – Free jacket potato lunch
1-2pm – A Bible story, songs and activities in church. All ages are welcome, especially families with children.
Come and eat together at Phil’s People!
Come along for good company and a delicious two course meal cooked by Cambridge Sustainable Food (vegetarian and gluten-free options), all for £2 per person.
Sometimes we have some music and usually there is a short, inspiring talk or activity between courses.
2nd Monday of the month – 6pm – 7pm
Romsey Music Project Lunchtime Concerts offer an opportunity to enjoy high quality music for free (although donations towards the expenses of our musicians are gratefully received!)
1st Thursday of the month at 1.15pm followed by refreshments in our Community Lounge.
