Roy Bradfield

Roy started coming to St Philip’s “midway through life” with his wife Ann and one or two children – the second one was christened here. “My Christian journey started here at St Philip’s when I was confirmed in 1980 and have been here ever since.”

Roy has been Church Warden and is still a member of the PCC (Church Council). He currently serves as one of our Licenced Local Ministers, as well as managing many of the Church Centre’s technical bits & bobs. His main focus, albeit fuzzy at times, is to share the Good News of Christ with others. As a result he is involved with ‘Praying for our Streets’, ‘Good News Down your Street’ project and the ‘Jesus Video project’ to name just a few.

Away from Church Roy enjoys a good walk. Its an interest which has taken him to many different parts of the country and the world in general. His other keen interest include DIY and food.
