Supporting Mission Worldwide

Our Aim

• St Philip’s and St Stephen’s Church actively supports Christian work and
  outreach through prayer and financial support for selected
  organisations. Much of our support involves long term commitment, for
  example financial support for individual mission partners.

• Each year the PCC budgets to give financial support as a “tithe” of about 10% from its general funds. This is in addition to designated funds given by members through the missionary account or specific collections such as for Tear Fund at Harvest. We have committed ourselves to £6,800 this year.

• Your regular or other giving to the church’s general funds contributes to
  this central financial support for mission including the budget below,
  but please consider ongoing personal support for each of our mission
  partners – they rely on our involvement and support in their service of
  our Saviour.

• It’s not just about money! Our Mission Partners really appreciate your
  support in prayer and fellowship with you through letters, emails and
